The House and the facilities
The main house is based on an open plan living concept and sleeps up to 10 guests. Offering 2 bathrooms and 2 separate toilets this accommodation is very family friendly and provides plenty of space for your holidays.
There are many interesting features when entering La Rabassiere; from the airy, sunfilled living/dining room facing south with its splendid views of “Les Maures”, the hills on the other side of the valley, to the large rustic, solid oak table, set next to an old fireplace. Here ten people can easily be accommodated for dinner occasions.
Passing through a galley kitchen, you enter an addition to the house which offers a cosy sleeping/living space including a second fireplace. A spiral staircase leads up to the mezzanine with a kingsized bed. French doors open to a wonderful balcony with a perfect view over the village.
The real charm of the house is its outdoors, a semi-enclosed terrace is the perfect setting for meals, reading, relaxing or whatever you do to recharge your batteries. All this takes place around the heart and soul of the residence; the infinity pool, an organically shaped heated expanse of water that extends into the landscape. The ajoining patio has a retractable awning for the midday sun.
A few steps behind the house is a separate atelier which sleeps two and includes it’s own bathroom, toilet and kitchenette. Located next to the atelier is an eccentric Finnish barbecue hut and you’ll find ample covered parking for two vehicles in the carport, set on the other side.
The secluded property offers a mediterranean garden including many fruit, olive and palm trees and lavender bushes complete the scenery and envelope the residence in a wonderful provencale fragrance.
